Host a Power Hour intern in summer 2027.

Girls Inc. of Greater Miami is looking for community partners to host high school girls entering their senior year for hands-on summer internships. Placements run July 1 to August 1, 2027, about four to five weeks. This is a short interest form, not a commitment. If it's a fit, we'll follow up with a formal agreement that spells out the details.

On Pay

GIGM covers intern wages using limited program funding. Partners are welcome to contribute to that pay, but it is not required. If you cannot pay, that will never be the reason we say no. Meaningful work matters more to us than funding.

  • A seat at the table for her. We're not looking for busywork placements. We want interns doing hands-on work that teaches them something about your field, with a supervisor who has time for them.
  • Timeline: placements run July 1 to August 1, 2027, about four to five weeks, with a formal agreement in place before any placement is finalized.
Not a disqualifier either way, just helps us plan the right level of support.
Optional to say yes. This will not affect whether we place an intern with you.
